George Miller

George Miller was born in May 1989, and grew up in Walthamstow, London, until 2001, when he moved to Eastleigh, Hampshire.

He attended The Toynbee School in Chandlers Ford, between 2001 and 2005. He left with 8 A*-C grade G.C.S.E.'s. He went on to Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, in Eastleigh, studying Sociology and an OCR National Diploma in Media Studies.

He later enrolled at Southampton Solent University, in Autumn 2007, studying Television Production.

But despite this, radio was slowly exposed as his main passion.

During his second year, he joined his university's Student Radio Station - Sin Radio - Where he presented a weekly breakfast slot. Due to timetabling restrictions, he did not carry this on into the second semester, however, in his third and final year, he rejoined the station, now re-branded as Radio Sonar, presenting a weekly early-afternoon slot. Which in the second semester moved to a slightly earlier time.

In November 2009, George managed to gain work experience with relatively new, local radio station, Play Radio 107.2 and 107.8 FM. While there, he gained a whole wealth of knowledge in Radio Djing.

From voice practice and work to learning the RCS system (both on and off air), he developed a lot in his on-air style, which he hopes to use to successfully gain a job in the Radio Industry when his university course finishes.

In other areas:

George is an only child, however, has gained a whole load of extended family members, in the form of 3 step-brothers on his step-fathers side, and a step-sister on his step mothers side.

He moved out of his parental home for two and a half years between February 2008 and June 2010, during his time at university.

He has a pet dog called Nelson. Named so, after Lord Admiral Nelson, of the Royal Navy - Not after Nelson Mandela!
